Having trouble with my pepper plants. I grew scorpion peppers last year with success. No issues. This year l’m growing the yellow variety. They started off fine and just stopped growing once they got about an inch tall. The first set of true leaves started and the original ones turned yellow and fell off. They have been the same size for a month now. I have no idea what the problem is. Please give me some advice. Thanks!

Are the peppers indoors or out? Either way, it is likely that the temperatures are not warm enough for steady growth. The plants may simply be holding their own until the temperatures warm. If the seedlings are indoors make sure they get constant light and are not near a chilly window. If they are outdoors, place a plastic cone or tunnel over them so that they get plenty of warmth during the day and do not chill at night. Keep the soil just moist and water with compost tea or a light liquid fertilizer every 10 days until they are well rooted.
